Report 064 - [Voice]

[Another post comes over the network, accompanied by the sound of rain. It's almost peaceful, if you like such weather, but soon a voice (Riza's, if you know her) speaks.

Her words probably ruin the calm atmosphere, though she is calm despite everything.]

I've found a body in the Southeast quadrant. I recognize him, but unfortunately I haven't learned his name.

[A pause.]

I'm afraid if anyone has noticed a young man missing, this is probably him. I won't show his face publicly, but if you want to see it for confirmation, I will do so privately. I will also need help moving his body as the rain has caused his body to deteriorate somewhat, though I have covered him up as best as I can. But be warned, the sight is...pretty gruesome if you are not used to such things.

[She pauses again, but speaks softly this time, as if that will soften the blow about to come.]

I believe he is a part of the Glee club.

All I can tell is his heart was ripped from his chest, but left behind. It's not characteristic of any animal I know of and it definitely doesn't surprise me that someone here would be capable of such a thing. I just don't know who is.

You are right. No normal animal woudl do that.

I know the body has been out in the rain, but did you notice anything else?

[Riza is a soldier, so Unohana trusts that she'd have noticed some details most people would have ignored.]

Rigor mortis has already set in and started to dissipate, so my guess is he's been dead for a little over twelve hours, give or take. There's not much else I've seen.

Given the temperature outside, and the rain, it might actually have been a bit longer ...

How deteriorated is the body exactly? Has it been touched by any scavenging animals?

That makes sense.

It's hard to tell, but there might be some extra damage around the wound. Most of it looks like a clean puncture, though there are some spots that are...well, almost nibbled at. It wouldn't surprise me if a rabbit or such decided to come after him after death.

Well, that tells us some things. If animals hadn't touched the body, we could have assumed it was tampered with in some way like poisoning. That is obviosuly not the case.

Puncture wounds, you say ... like a fine blade, or something less sharp?
