[Riza looks a little worse for wear, undoubtedly because she's been running all over creation trying to get a grip on the situation. Still, she's in one piece and unhurt, which is a very good thing right now.]

Has anyone figured out a weakness to these creatures in the sky? I may not have any magic abilities, but I'm a damned good shot, if I say so myself.

followstheflame: (They keep us apart)
[This month just keeps getting better and better.  Riza had hated to leave Negi during such a horrible time, but this new city suddenly emerging in the Wastes demands her attention.  She's made her way to the top of one section of the Great Wall, separating the Safezone from the Wastes, and has her rifle slung across her back, the barrel of the weapon visible over her shoulder.  Her hair is pulled back in a hasty ponytail, as well; obviously her appearance at such a time comes second.

But it's still evident that she means serious business.]

People of Adstringendum, there is indeed a city in the Wastelands.  I can see it right now.  I don't know too much about it, but if you do approach it, please do so with caution.  We don't know what kind of tricks the Animus are up to this week.

As for anyone in the new city, we mean you no harm.

[Okay, mostly not.  There are some residents that just do not care, but she doesn't want to frighten anyone.]

If any of you can even see this message, please respond and inform me of your situation.  The more information we have of each other, the easier it should become to work together and figure this out.

Thank you for your cooperation.

[She ends the feed.]
followstheflame: (It could be wrong could be wrong)
[Riza turns on her PCD, the occasional bark heard in the background, somewhere else in the house.  She looks as if she is about to announce something, but then a crash is heard, soon followed by dogs whining.

Riza just stares blankly at the feed, blinks, and then sighs as she gets up and leaves the room.  She's gone for a few minutes and when she comes back, she makes a private filter.]

followstheflame: ('Fuhrer Mustang' is not your title yet)
I hope everyone is well after last week.  If anyone can fill me in on the details of what happened, and any other casualties the network didn't pick up, it would be greatly appreciated.

It may be fruitless to say this, but please be careful.  It seems this summer has been wrought with countless attacks.
followstheflame: (FMA - Riza perseverant)
As of now, I do not believe I will be coming home any time soon tonight, if at all. If anyone needs to get in touch with me, contact my PCD.

Don't wait up for me.

[ooc: Takes place during the Havoc-getting-drained-and-rescued log.]
followstheflame: (FMA - Riza worried)
[The feed turns on abruptly as Riza sets down her purse and the PCD just happens to angle itself so it shows a small stack of papers in Riza's hands.  She mumbles to herself, not realizing she is being recorded.]

Why was this in the store?

[The top of the stack has
this scene in perfect condition.  As she skims through the threepages, she inadvertently shows them to the awaiting network.  There are other scenes from the manga in the stack, but we don't get to see those.  After looking through the first few pages, Riza sets the stack beside her purse and drops her head into her hands.]

How many people saw that?

[Glancing over at her purse, she notices the red light on the PCD and hastily turns off the feed.]

[ooc:  Spoilers for chapter 59, pages 28-30, and a bit of the Ishbal storyline.  Everyone is visible, even Maes.  Riza will probably find more throughout the week.  Feel free to also find anything with her from the manga if you're feeling particularly toturous.  XD]
