I think I could get used to baking pies. I still need a little work, though.

I hope everyone has been taking advantage of this overabundance of apples. We might get sick of them, but it's food and we never know if we could run into a shortage.

After all, if we run into a food shortage, it could shorten people's life spans. Young children may never get the chance to grow!

Then again, considering the nature of death here, perhaps nobody will die. It might just be that those poor, miserable, tiny souls will be doomed to forever up for things beyond their grasp.
