Report 032 - [Accidental Video - Forward!dated to sunrise]

[The view is a little dark, a figure hidden in shadow outside of her house, but as the feed records, the sky lightens up, bit by bit.    Soon enough, Riza is recognizable, sitting on the front steps with Dakota curled up beside her, his head resting in her lap.  A few droplets of rain hit the screen and Riza opens her umbrella, protecting herself and the puppy.

A few more minutes pass and her hair, free from the clip, is seen.  To anyone who was here a year ago, it would be obvious that her hair has grown a little longer.  It's no longer just beyond her shoulders, but almost halfway down her back.  Maybe Riza should cut it, but...it's not too bad as it is.

It's still a little chilly, so she pulls her coat a little tighter around her shoulders with her free hand.  That coat has a history of its own, as does everything surrounding her.  She looks down at the puppy, at a sleeve, even at the step she's sitting on, and smiles just enough so that it is a smile at all.]

Hm...

[He'd watched the feed for a while, frowned when it started raining and she made no move to come in. His last straw was seeing her pull that coat around her tighter. With a sigh he'd shut off the PCD and grabbed the largest blanket they owned - one that he'd used alchemy to make larger and useful for sitting on the couch together.

He was outside soon enough, making his presence known with a mutter of her name as he closed the door behind him. He was at her side moments later - plucking Dakota up off the floor, and setting him across his lap as he sat down beside Riza, other arm stretching out to wrap the blanket around his girlfriend's shoulder, keeping the other side around him and over the puppy.]

[Riza had hoped she didn't wake up Roy, but she figured this wasn't so bad. It was something new for them and Riza would take their time together when she could. Nearly six months now. Where did the time go?

The still sleepy Dakota moaned his displacement, but then curled up in Roy's lap. Daddy was warmer than the concrete step anyway, and softer. Therefore, he was a better bed. Riza smiled at the two, and how Roy took care of her, and leaned against him so they could both fit under the umbrella.]

[He turned his head to Riza to offer a smile, tugging the blanket around so that it covered Dakota, his hand settled on the puppy's head, fingertips gently rubbing the soft fur there as his other hand tugged the other end of the blanket around Riza's side, and he let his hand drop to curve around her waist.

He liked spending time with her like this, and the addition of Dakota had been unexpected, although planned. He definately gave them an edge on their relationship.]
